About Elton

Elton Xhoja is a dedicated music educator and performing artist with a deep commitment to lifelong musical exploration. He holds an Associate of Arts from Quincy College, a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Berklee College of Music, and a Master’s in Music Education from Kent State University. Since 2009, he has been teaching in the Brookline Public Schools, where he inspires students through improvisation, creativity, and meaningful engagement with music.

Originally from Albania, Elton spent his formative years in Greece, where he studied at the Nakas Conservatory. It was there he auditioned for Berklee and earned a scholarship that brought him to the U.S. He now performs both jazz and traditional Greek music throughout Greater Boston and across the United States.

Elton’s educational philosophy centers on the belief that music is for life—not just a subject, but a way of being. He sees music as a universal language that can awaken creativity, foster community, and empower individuals. His mission is to reach as many students as possible and help them discover the music within themselves.
