Booking Questions

How far in advance should I book live music for my wedding?

For weddings during peak season (May–October) we recommend booking 6–12 months ahead. For off-season events, 3–6 months. We can sometimes accommodate last-minute requests, but the best ensembles fill up quickly.

Do you travel outside of Boston?

We cover the Greater Boston metro and South Shore with no travel fees within 50 miles. We also book events on Cape Cod, Newport, and select destinations when travel is included in the quote.

What's included in your pricing?

Every quote includes the musicians' performance, equipment (instruments, light PA where needed), setup and breakdown, and one point of contact handling all scheduling and logistics. We carry $2M liability insurance.

Can you handle both ceremony and reception?

Yes — we regularly book continuous coverage: a string trio for the ceremony, a jazz duo during cocktail hour, and a DJ or party band for the reception. We coordinate transitions and sound between sets.

What if a musician is unavailable on my date?

Our roster of ~200 musicians means we always have qualified alternates. If a specific performer can't cover your date, we'll arrange an equally talented sub from our roster — no scrambling, no drama.
